Fully automated bigbag discharge is typically chosen in situations where the product is toxic, hazardous to health, or otherwise highly nuisance‑producing in dust form. The drawback of this solution is that the bigbag is cut open from the bottom and therefore cannot be reused. For this reason, the station is equipped with a sack compactor, into which the emptied big bag is automatically discharged at the end of the emptying cycle.
If dust from the product is not a significant issue, the discharge station can be supplied without an enclosure. In this configuration, the bigbag is simply lowered onto a robust stationary knife, which cuts it open from below.
Additionally, various solutions can be implemented to improve product flow, such as a vibrating bottom, massage plates and similar equipment.
